Dilldap - The Shire

This yarn is 142 yards of Worsted Weight (4) awesomeness.  Dilldap is a thick yarn that works up in a flash.

This yarn is created from 100% mulberry silk spun from the shorter fibers remaining after the primary reeling and spinning processes.  This gives a texture similar to cotton, but with a silky sheen (duh!)  The color is rich and engaging combination of springtime-y blues and greens.  Traditional dyeing techniques are used to create this uplifting colorway.

This yarn is perfect for sweaters, cowls, tops, shawls, baby blankets or anything you need from a worsted weight.  This yarn is also perfect for macrame and thick woven projects.

Care Instructions:  Hand wash in the sink with cold water, using a light detergent such as Dawn Dish Washing Liquid, or similar gentle cleanser.  In the first few washes, some of the overdye will come out.  Squeeze gently and roll up in a towel to remove excess water.  Lay flat and shape to dry.
