Harvey - Wrestling with Reality

This yarn is 285 yards of DK Weight (3) shenanigans.  Harvey is a medium thickness, single ply, roving-type yarn that works up in a flash.  I can say, we've wrestled with reality for many years, and I'm happy to state we finally won out over it.

This yarn is created from 100% mulberry silk spun from the longer fibers remaining after the primary reeling and spinning processes.  This gives a slightly fuzzy texture that is heaven against your skin.  The color is rich and engaging combination dusty pink, grey, and orange with hints of lime green.  Traditional dyeing techniques are used to create this mischievous colorway.

This yarn is perfect for sweaters, cowls, tops, shawls, baby blankets or anything you need from a worsted weight.  This yarn is also perfect for macrame and thicker woven projects.

Care Instructions:  Hand wash in the sink with cold water, using a light detergent such as Dawn Dish Washing Liquid, or similar gentle cleanser.  In the first few washes, some of the overdye will come out.  Squeeze gently and roll up in a towel to remove excess water.  Lay flat and shape to dry.
