Jackalope 4 - Snowy Mum

This yarn is 250 yards of DK Weight (3) shenanigans.  This Jackalope is created from 3 plies of variegated color plus a single ply of white, fuzzy Dilldap.  

This yarn is created from 100% mulberry silk spun from the longer fibers remaining after the primary reeling and spinning processes.  The 4 plies of colors gives a subtle color change to the finished fabric with a tweedy look, and the texture is drapey and flows like water. The color is rich and engaging combination of gold, burgundy, and dusty teal with an extra strand of natural color.  

Care Instructions:  Hand wash in the sink with cold water, using a light detergent such as Dawn Dish Washing Liquid, or similar gentle cleanser.  In the first few washes, some of the overdye will come out.  Squeeze gently and roll up in a towel to remove excess water.  Lay flat and shape to dry.
