Pikaboo 20/3 - Brown Bear

This yarn is 667 yards of Lace Weight (0) airiness.  This version of Pikaboo is a 3-ply yarn, each ply consisting of 20 strands of spun silk.

This yarn is created from 100% mulberry silk spun from the longer fibers remaining after the primary reeling and spinning processes.  This gives a light, airy texture that is like wearing nothing at all.  The color is rich and engaging dark brown.  Traditional dyeing techniques are used to create this uplifting colorway.

This yarn is perfect for Estonian and Shetland shawls, cowls, tops, or anything you need from a lace weight.  This yarn is also perfect for macrame, jewelry, and woven projects.

Care Instructions:  Hand wash in the sink with cold water, using a light detergent such as Dawn Dish Washing Liquid, or similar gentle cleanser.  In the first few washes, some of the overdye will come out.  Squeeze gently and roll up in a towel to remove excess water.  Lay flat and shape to dry.
