Pikaboo 20/3 - Martini Time

This yarn is 667 yards of Lace Weight (0) airiness.  This version of Pikaboo is a 3-ply yarn, each ply consisting of 20 strands of spun silk.

This yarn is created from 100% mulberry silk spun from the longer fibers remaining after the primary reeling and spinning processes.  This gives a light, airy texture that is like wearing nothing at all.  The color is a dark olive green.  Traditional dyeing techniques are used to create this uplifting colorway.

This yarn is perfect for Estonian and Shetland shawls, cowls, tops, or anything you need from a lace weight.  This yarn is also perfect for macrame, jewelry, and woven projects.

Care Instructions:  Hand wash in the sink with cold water, using a light detergent such as Dawn Dish Washing Liquid, or similar gentle cleanser.  In the first few washes, some of the overdye will come out.  Squeeze gently and roll up in a towel to remove excess water.  Lay flat and shape to dry.
