This yarn is created from 100% mulberry reeled silk pulled directly from the cocoon.  The length of the fibers is the length of the skein, giving the swishiest, drapiest fabric imaginable.  This gives a flowy texture that is like wearing a waterfall.  The color is a rich and engaging speckly light red.  Traditional dyeing techniques are used to create this uplifting colorway.

This yarn is perfect for intricate shawls, spectacular tops and clothing, or anything you need from a DK weight.  This yarn is also perfect for macrame, jewelry, and woven projects.

Care Instructions:  Hand wash in the sink with cold water, using a light detergent such as Dawn Dish Washing Liquid, or similar gentle cleanser.  In the first few washes, some of the overdye will come out.  Squeeze gently and roll up in a towel to remove excess water.  Lay flat and shape to dry.
