This yarn is 667 yards of Lace Weight (0) intrigue.

This yarn is created from 100% Tussah silk, foraged from wild Tussah silkmoth cocoons found in the local forests.  These fibers are considered "vegan" as the moth has left the building, so to speak.  The texture of this fabric has a similar feel to a fine wool, with all the wonderful strength and thermal properties of silk.  The color is a rich and engaging dusty rose.  Traditional dyeing techniques are used to create this uplifting colorway.

This yarn is perfect for intricate shawls, tops, lingerie, or anything you need from a lace weight.  This yarn is also perfect for macrame, jewelry, tatting, and woven projects.

Care Instructions:  Hand wash in the sink with cold water, using a light detergent such as Dawn Dish Washing Liquid, or similar gentle cleanser.  In the first few washes, some of the overdye will come out.  Squeeze gently and roll up in a towel to remove excess water.  Lay flat and shape to dry.
